Match the rim diameter in millimeters. 78mm rim cups take 78mm lids; 92mm cups take 92mm lids; 95mm and 98mm follow the same pattern. The lid manufacturer's rim spec must match the cup manufacturer's rim spec — even within a single rim size, lids from different vendors don't always interchange because the snap profile varies.

A flat lid is the lowest profile and best for stacking; it usually has a slot for a straw. A dome lid has a raised top, used for whipped toppings, foam, or visual presentation on smoothies and bubble tea.
